Ancient carved chlorite bangle bracelet

Features a bracelet carved by hand from chlorite, a material widely traded across the ancient Near East, including Mesopotamia, southwestern Iran, and the Persian Gulf The exterior features deeply incised, hand-carved geometric decorations, including a central rectangular frame filled with a cross-hatched or wickerwork motif, flanked by stylized vertical and diagonal grooves. These patterns are frequently found on cosmetic pots, cylindrical vases, and decorative weights from the ancient Elamite and Sumerian spheres.
